Yes. Smart Wireless Aged Care Alarm Kit for Home Automation contain the gateway and will link to your home Wi-Fi router to work –Users do notneed to purchase a specific gateway.

Only the person who knows your Wi-Fi password and connect to the same Wi-Fi is able to search the device. You can lock an enhanced security in BroadLink APP.
