Protective function

 - It have more than 20 protection modules in the library in device, can meet user’s need.

 - User can select corresponding protection module according to actual demand.

 - Self-define protective function can realize special protection not in protective module storage in the device, it is maximum content with user demand.

 - Uniting ladder diagrams and processing function, user can realize protection function on/off  dynamically, and trip in different channel, which increase the flexibly of the protective functions.

 - Every protective function is single, separately, the settings, timer, lock condition and used on/off can set independently.

 - Protective function have no interface with communication networks.

 - Compare with normal relays, the device take more advantage of more reliability, more fast, selectivity and more sensibly.

 - United with recording events, fault wave record and communication networks, the protective functions has reached a new high level.

Measure function

 - measure content including:

A. Current (Ia, Ib, Ic, ), measure precision rank is 0.2 level.

B. Voltage (Ua, Ub, Uc, Uab, Ubc, Uca ), measure precision rank is 0.2 level.

C. Frequently (F), measure precision is 0.02 Hz.

D. Power (P, Q, PF), measure is C, and precision rank is 0.5 level.

E. Energy ( PhI, QhI, PhE, QhE, ), measure precision rank is 0.5 level.

F. All data relatively to protection (for example 3I0, 3U0, 3I2, 3U2, Ux, Fx etc )

 - Current circuit support connecting way which are two phases and two components, two phases three components and three phases three components.

 - Voltage circuit support connecting way of which are three phases (Y/Y) and two phases (V/V).

 - According to CT, PT ratio and connecting method, transform the value of engineer automated, and show the original side and the secondary side values.

 - Precision revises of every measure are realized by software, and don’t need hardware change.

Surveillance function

 - Support 12 channels input signal with no power, and support direct trip or alarm.

 - Use hardware circuit filter and setting technology of changing position by software and confirming time window,

 - surveillance content including:

A. The breaker position

B. Earth switch position

C. Separate switch position

D. Breaker working position, breaker examination position.

E. Spring status storing up power, air pressure (GIS box)

F. Other contact status signal, such as temperature, gas, unit locked signal.

G. CT/PT open alarm signal.

H. Lose of control power signal.

I. Trip or close circuit failure alarm signal.

J. Devices self-check(devices itself working status)

Control function

 - First use ladder diagrams and processing and logistic (PLC) controlling technology in protective relays.

 - Easy to realize all kinds of complex automation control, include backup power source automatic switch on,power factor auto compensate, transformer separate plug adjust automatically, PT switch exchange automatically , control united lock/ act, avoid trip over zone,  breaker trip failure protection and temperature control.

 - Visit and operate the digital input, relays and all kinds of working information of the devices by programming ladder diagrams, realize real “intellectualized” control.

 - Have breaker operating interface, it is more harmony when control the breaker, include:

A. Breaker remote/local control or lock.

B. Breaker act outside controlled.

C. Locked control the breaker closing.

D. Locked control the breaker trip.

E. Breaker trip failure signal output.

F. Breaker trip/close coil protection

G. Breaker operating information collect statistics (include operating times, trip/close switch time, cutting off maximum current and the value of ∑I2t), so CDMP 300 series product is not only general significance protection and measuring and controlling device, but also control and management center of breakers on line measuring and management instrument and intellectualized switch box.

The function of interface between person and device

 - Absolutely accord design demand of engineering between person and device

 - Big LCD, design like as file, and showing all is in Chinese

 - Showing content include main circuit diagram, measure data, the status of switch, real-time wave, recording events, settings of protection, ladder diagrams program and  system parameter etc.

 - 9 high light indicator light, indicate device running, communicating, self-checking, closed position ,tripped position, remote control, local control,  fault,  alarm.

 - 4 backup indicator light can be showed other information by user select, for example: Energized light recloser is ready, backup power source energized, transformer temperature, gas signal and so on.

 - 4 keys, used to operate the device locally.

 - A reset key, specialized to reset the fault and alarm signal

 - A lock which switch between remote/local control function.

 - Open/close button, used to operate local breaker.

 - RS232 port. Used to testing and maintenance the device.

 - For cooperating with the system running and management demand, device support three level work mode:

Ordinary operator: Can only check running information and system parameter;

Senior operator: Can change settings of protection, protection function on/off and system parameter;

System vindicator: have the senior right, could work on circuit designing, ladder diagrams program.

Communication function

 - Using CAN local bus, assure real-time and credibility when transmitting information, the highest speed is 1 Mbps, the longest distance is 10 km.

 - Support standard MODBUS or IEC60870-5-103 protocols.

 - It can select Asynchronous Communications way of computer, which are RS485, RS422, RS232, and easy to automation system interface.

 - Support many physical transmitting medium, including twisted-pair, coaxial line, Optical Fiber cable, air and so on, net system which make up of all kinds of connecting way and regionally span transmit all running information to the fore rank SCADA system, including remote-measure, remote-information, settings of protection, system parameter, etc

 - It can receive all kinds of command from upper SCADA system. The command can be remote control, remote adjust, settings change of protections and so on, realize automatic substation with nobody on local duty.
