I’m writing since La Paz city, in Bolivia/South America.
We have AMI/AMR residential metering projects.
Now I have a project for 300 users in 6 town (each town with average 50 users).
Currently the metering is with electromechanical meters and the UTILITY must upgrade its metering system to an AMI or AMR system.
All these towns are far from the city and there is no cell phone service, our client will be able to provide internet connectivity through its ethernet/LAN network.
I also have another new project to start with 800 users, but I don't have the complete customer information yet.
